  Comment: Two main crosses between Morone americana x M. saxatilis: Virginia Bass (male M. americana x female M. saxatilis) and Maryland Bass (female M. americana x male M. saxatilis). Hybrids between Morone chrysops x Morone saxatilis include Whiterock Bass or Sunshine Bass (female M. chrysops x male M. saxatilis), the Palmetto Bass (male M. chrysops x female M. saxatilis), and the Wiper (parent sex unknown).The Paradise Bass (male M. mississippiensis x female M. saxatilis) has been stocked in Louisiana (Fuller et al. 1999)
