  Comment: Apparently the lack of extant type specimens and the sparse original description mean that the precise identity of Torrey's nominal species P. pacifica may never be known with certainty. Russel Zimmer (email 04-2004) notes, 'specimens collected at the site make lumping it under harmeri (or viridis) defensible and probably reasonable. On the other hand, we have at least two actinotrochs for which plausible adults are not known from along our coast'
