  Comment: Hodgson (1841) used the spelling Aemodius in the title of his paper (p. 856), the spelling Oemodius in the description (p. 857), and Omodius on the plate (between pp. 856 and 857). Hartert (1907) listed all three versions and selected aemodius, meeting the requirements of ICZN article 24.2.3 as the first reviser. The correct spelling going forward is aemodius
