  Comment: Although several recent works (Broad et al. 2016, Davidian 2017, Alekseev et al. 2019) list Aphidius bispinosa Telenga, 1958 in synonymy under Aphidius funebris Mackauer, 1961, they give no explanation of why the senior name is not used as the current name of the species. Additionally, it appears that Telenga originally gave the name as 'Aphidius bispinosa' (-a, see Starư 1965), although several authors have treated A. bispinosus (-us) as the correct spelling (not confirmed by us)
