  Comment: Hummon et al. (1992) note that when Remane transfered Heterolepidoderma dubium Remane, 1926 (TSN 58025) to the genus Chaetonotus, he appropriately renamed the species as Chaetonotus decipiens Remane, 1929 (TSN 58026) so as to avoid homonymy with Chaetonotus dubius Daday, 1905 (TSN 57842)  
    The publication of the binomial Heterolepidoderma dubium Remane, 1926 (TSN 58025) predates the the description of the genus Heterolepidoderma Remane, 1927 (TSN 58042) and correctly displays a non-parenthetical authority
