  Comment: Centris apicalis Smith, 1874 (now as Centris smithii Cresson, 1879 (TSN 764904)) is a junior primary homonym of Anthophora versicolor apicalis Guérin-Méneville, 1844 (now as Centris poecila Lepeletier, 1841 (TSN 699070)). Centris smithii Cresson, 1879 was the replacement name
