  Comment: Authorship of Anthophora melanopyrrha (the original combination) is given as "Dours" within the text (page 90), but as "Sichel" in the index (page 209) of Dours' 1969 "Monographie Iconographique du Genre Anthophora Lat. (Extrait des Mémoires de la Société linnéenne du Nord de la France.)". Sichel's role in describing the species is unclear with respect to the name and the publication, and therefore does not satisfy the criteria necessary to make some other person other than the author of the work (Friese) the author of the name as specified in ICZN 50.1.1
