  Comment: Eschmeyer (online Catalog of Fishes, 2003) notes that Gobiosoma limbaughi Burgess & Axelrod 1984 'Probably can be regarded as unavailable on the basis of Art. 13 -- names published after 1930 must be accompanied by a description of definition in words characters that are purported to differentiate the taxon; the only character mentioned in words by the Burgess & Axelrod is "... with even broader dark bands."
