  Comment: Originally described as a variety vagans of Peripatus (Epiperipatus) brasiliensis, so when placed in any genus other than Peripatus, authorship must be parenthesized. Costa & Giribet (2021) misinterpret ICZN Article 51.3 when they claim the combination Epiperipatus vagans should not have parenthetical authorship
