  Comment: Ménétriés (1849) attributed authorship of Megilla monacha to Erichson on page 306. However Erichson's role in describing the species is unclear with respect to the name and the publication, and therefore does not satisfy the criteria necessary to make some other person other than the author of the work (Ménétriés) the author of the name as specified in ICZN 50.1.1
