  Comment: Although the family-group name Ectinoderinae is often attributed to Stål 1866:245, it was made available (as a subfamily 'Ectinoderida') in Stål 1859:328 (as were other family-group names currently in use, including Saicinae, originally as 'Saicida,' and Hammacerinae, originally as 'Hammacerida'). Note that these names meet the criteria of ICZN (1999) Articles 11.7.1.1 and 12.2.4
