Journal/Book Name, Vol. No.:
Plagusia melanopterus Bleeker, 1851 was apparently established as a replacement name for Plagusia monopus Bleeker 1849, but this appears to have been unnecessary, as the 1849 name remains in use in the genus Cynoglossus
