  Comment: The position of kroyeri Möller 1842 appears to be unresolved in the literature. Turgeon et al. (1998) place it in Colus (where Plicifusus would then be a subgenus), but Higo et al. (1999) retain it in the full genus Plicifusus (of which it is the type species)
