  Comment: Heriades tricarinatus Cockerell, 1920 is a junior primary homonym of Noteriades tricarinatus (Bingham, 1903) (TSN 756883) (originally described in Megachile)  
    In 1931 Cockerell stated: "Bingham described this as Megachile tricarinata in 1903. In 1920 I described it, from Durban, Natal, as Heriades tricarinatus, at that time having no idea that it was Bingham's Megachile"
