  Comment: Status: IUCN 2003 and IUCN/SSC Action Plan (2001) - Lower Risk (lc)  
    Comments: megaphyllus species group. Does not include keyensis and amiri; see Kitchener et al. (1995a), although also see discussion in Csorba et al. (2003). May be closely related to philippinensis, and both taxa as presently recognized may be polyphyletic; see Cooper et al. (1998).
