  Comment: Supposed North American distribution is apparently due to confusion, and should be attributed to Tetracha impressa (Chevrolat, 1841). Bousquet (2012:284) notes that Tetracha impressa 'has passed under the name T. angustata (Chevrolat, 1841) or T. affinis angustata in the North American literature until recently'
