  Comment: Vance (1978) published a key based on Hendricks' (1975) unpublished dissertation prior to the published description of the taxon (as C. marmoratus reticuloriens) by Hendricks and Dixon (1986); Vance, Hendricks, Dixon, and Smith (1991) appealed to the ICZN to suppress the combination as published by Vance, 1978 in order to establish the authorship as Hendricks and Dixon, 1986, but the ICZN refused; and so the correct author citation remains Vance, 1978 (Vance, Hendricks, Dixon, and Smith (1991))
