    Trigona dorsalis Smith, 1863 (now as Frieseomelitta meadewaldoi (Cockerell, 1915)) is a junior primary homonym of Trigona dorsalis Smith, 1854 (now as Tetragona dorsalis (Smith, 1854) (TSN 764071)). Trigona meadewaldoi Cockerell, 1915 was the replacement name
