  Comment: Pelham (2008) places Anthocharis in the tribe Anthocharidini (Pieridae:Pierinae). Although "Anthocharinae" has been used in the literature, Pelham (p.165) indicates the family-group name was originally coined as "Anthocharidi" and treats it with the stem "Anthocharid-", so the correct spelling for the subfamily name is apparently "Anthocharidinae"
