  Comment: See Arrow (1932 '1933':149), where it is noted that Bates (1888:189) misapplied Blanchard's name in the combination Lachnosterna cribricollis, in a misidentification of a specimen of another species. Ancylonycha cribricollis Blanchard, 1851, was a junior homonym, 'having previously been used for an Indian insect by Redtenbacher,' so both are given new names by Arrow
