  Comment: Although Friese (1901:345-346) lists 'Epicharis duckei n. sp.', apparently this work is treating Epicharis as a subgenus of Centris, at least that is the implication of Rasmussen & Ascher (2008:45). The name is given in what seems to be a revised printing of Friese's earlier work (1900:117-120), but this is one of the four new names that were not actually given in 1900
