  Comment: Larsen (personal communication, September 2003) suggests following Gutu (2001), which transfers the sole species of Anuropodidae to Parapseudes, rendering Anuropodidae Bacescu 1980 and Anuropoda Bacescu 1980 as synonyms of Parapseudidae Gutu 1981 and Parapseudes Sars 1882, respectively (note, however, the apparenly senior family name Anuropodidae should have priority, so more research may be needed!)
